Welcome to The Grimoire! My blog dedicated to my process and inspirations! 

I've been trying to think of all the ways to perfectly introduce myself, but in the end I've decided that I'm actually going to let go of perfection because it's one of the things I love about my lino print process.

Mistakes happen and I am then able to make something new out of them!

My work is mainly inspired by folklore and wildlife. In the UK our wildlife population is rapidly shrinking due to loss of habitat. Some of the creatures we associate most with our countrysides actually exist in shockingly low numbers. Hedgehogs, dormice, red squirrels and so many more are considered endangered.🦔

I hope that my work reminds people that our natural world is vital to our existence, and helps them peer through the veil into hedgerows full of magic!

I'll be posting my imperfect process, the inevitable slices in my fingers from Lino tools , folk tales, finished pieces and inevitable cat photos.
